As Principal Investments Manager, I play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth, day-to-day running of the Fund, with a primary focus on achieving the key objective of paying pensions as they fall due. I collaborate closely with team members to ensure the Fund maintains sufficient assets to meet both current and future liabilities, while overseeing the governance structure to ensure strategic alignment and successful implementation of investment decisions.I provide strategic advice to the Fund’s Working Groups and Management Panel on investment matters and work closely with senior leadership in formulating strategy, policies, and procedures. I also engage actively with the wider investment ecosystem, including industry bodies, regulators, asset managers, investment advisors, and senior pension colleagues.
