ABOUT ABDOU SAKO
I began my VFX career in 2017 at MPC, followed by a year at Digital Dimension, then Reel FX, and joined Method Studios in 2021. My notable contributions before joining Method Studios include work on projects such as X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Ms. Marvel, Thor: Love and Thunder, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Harry Potter Universal Studio, SCOOB, and Back to the Outback. Recently, Method Studios transitioned to Framestore, where I have contributed to The Little Mermaid, Guardians 3, the upcoming Rebel Moon, IF, Wicked, Snow White, and more.Beyond my professional roles, I am committed to fostering community growth and sharing my expertise to elevate others. I also serve as a faculty member at Rubika, where I teach VFX at the master\'s degree level to aspiring students.In addition to my work at Framestore and Rubika, I play a pivotal role as an instructor at AFRO VFX, a pioneering initiative offering free training in 3D and VFX across Africa. This initiative aims to revolutionize the industry on the continent, positioning Africa as a key player in the global VFX landscape.
