I am a Research Fellow with the Ocean Nexus Center, working at the intersection of ocean justice, environmental governance, and global development. My research explores how colonial histories and political economies continue to shape international fisheries management and ocean governance today, with the goal of advancing equity, sustainability, and resilience for marginalized coastal communities, particularly in the Global South. This work contributes to Ocean Nexus’s mission of creating equitable and inclusive ocean futures through research, policy, and collaboration.
