Provide strategic leadership to a team tasked with delivering economic growth by supporting indigenous business to grow, attracting new business development with a focus on driving up productivity and securing highly skilled jobs in the local economy.Main Responsibilities:1. Develop and implement a key account management structure for the engagement of our larger indigenous businesses to support the existing NNDR base of North Lincolnshire. Lead a team tasked with supporting existing businesses to grow, diversify and increase their productivity ensuring that intelligence is fed into policy making at local and sub-regional level. Place a lead role in the development and delivery of the Economic Growth Plan and development plan. Develop, champion, implement and monitor innovative effective and strategic approaches to investment with a key focus on securing business development in the priority sectors identified within the Economic Growth Plan. Lead on funding projects / programmes as required in support of key strategic priorities. Support businesses to access funding opportunities and work with partners such as the Department for Business and Trade to increase funding opportunities in line with our business needs. Manage an effective and efficient customer relationship management system and externally facing website to ensure seamless service for all businesses and customers. Develop sector based plans for priority sectors using intelligence derived from ongoing business engagement. Provide support to enable business start-ups and engender a sense of entrepreneurial spirit in North Lincolnshire.
