ABOUT ABDERRAHIM LACHGAR
My passion for Immunology started at a very young age, and grew along with my Biology studies, when I decided to specialize in Hematoimmunology. At that time, the strong preoccupation around viral diseases such as AIDS gave me the opportunity to get a better understanding of Immunology mechanisms, and my PhD on immunosuppressive profiles in HIV patients was a turning point in my carrier. Meeting with UPMC Immunology department group has been one of the most significant moments of my professional life, and working with him has been an amazing journey on discovering and developing new Immunotherapies.The essence of my professional commitment is to provide patients with solutions meeting their needs and way of life, while building a sustainable and valuable business model. This entails considering and respecting the ecosystem we evolve in, adding value to it, and taking part to scientific progress.
