About Abdelrahman Hamimi

I’m the Co-Founder & CTO of Scheduling Wizard, a startup focused on making healthcare inefficiencies disappear. I now work on the company full-time alongside my co-founders on product development, technical strategy and sales.Previously, I worked at GEICO while completing my Master’s degree at Johns Hopkins University, and simultaneously building Scheduling Wizard. I was able to earn my computer science masters degree in May 2025, along with the AWS Cloud Solutions Architect Associate certification. At GEICO, I took ownership of a monthly sales performance report distributed to the CEO and executive leadership team. By automating manual workflows with SQL, I reduced update time from days to hours and enhanced the report by highlighting initiatives, standout metrics and actionable insights. The improvements earned positive recognition from executive leadership. I also developed a data-driven Streamlit application adopted across multiple departments to streamline processes and deliver insights faster, and built a machine learning model using XGBoost to solve a prioritization challenge.Balancing graduate studies, corporate experience and startup building taught me how to execute under pressure and adapt quickly. I’m passionate about turning complex problems into simple solutions that deliver measurable impact.
