Attend all part shortage meetings to assist program managers and purchasing with part orders and issue resolution keeping part deliveries on time. Utilize the issues management system for all issues found during the prototype builds. Issue part correction notices for all part reworks, alterations, or substitutions needed. Represent the electrical group for all prototype build work: We will utilize some of our prototype build space for reworks of existing harnesses by the wiring suppliers, but they will need to be provided with direction/planning. Attend all walk-around, build assessment, issues identification & review meetings, and part change notification review meetings related to the prototype build as a representative for the electrical group and take recommended actions accordingly. Support the prototype build process for the electrical group at the build sites including prototype sub assembly builds. Support the breadboards including surrogate parts required necessary to prove-out the prototype vehicle electrical prior to assembly. Flash and configure prototype vehicles software at the build sites. Support electrical test engineers with prototype breadboard & vehicle functional prove-out, and vehicle signoff. Provide electrical support and troubleshooting of the vehicles in the test fleet after they have been signed off andbeing used for testing.
