Ensuring a superior offboarding experience for Remote’s clients and employees.• Provide expert guidance on key labour laws and HR processes, advising clients on terminations, resignations, transfers, employment contracts, and redundancy procedures, while ensuring legal compliance and best practices.• Lead and facilitate high-stakes meetings, including workforce reduction consultations, administrative hearings, separations, and settlement negotiations, delivering termination outcomes professionally and effectively.• Influence and negotiate positive resolutions in complex termination cases, effectively managing multiple stakeholders with competing interests.• Liaise with and coordinate various internal and external stakeholders—payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, and trade unions—to ensure compliance in all offboarding activities and audits.• Draft, tailor, and administer termination-related documents with accuracy, maintaining strict privacy and confidentiality standards.• Process offboarding on Remote’s HRIS platform, collaborating with teams across Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Time & Attendance to ensure smooth and timely exits.• Act as a first point of escalation, mentoring and guiding junior team members while providing subject-matter expertise on offboarding matters.• Proactively identify and drive process improvements, automation, and product development to enhance the offboarding experience for both clients and employees.• Establish and refine offboarding standards, procedures, and best practices, exercising strategic judgment to align with broader Employee Lifecycle and company-wide goals.
