About Abdallah Mancour Billah
As a visionary product strategist and technologist, I am passionate about building software products that make a difference in people’s lives. I work closely with founders to deliver shareholder value and help bring their vision to life. In my 18+ years in healthcare payments, I had the privilege to gain deep and wide experience by working closely with, and being mentored by, Chris Seib and Bill Marvin. As visionary thought-leaders in Healthcare and Payments, and founders of InstaMed, they helped me develop my expertise and leadership in technology, Product and Business strategy, as we built a company, from a handful of employees when I joined, to a market leader in healthcare payments that was acquired by JPMorgan in 2019. JPMorgan’s acquisition of InstaMed was one of the most successful acquisitions by the firm as the business grew by 100% over the last 4 years, with 40% less than the industry average delivery team, and serving half of the top 100 hospitals in the country and many thousands of group practices.Reflecting in my journey that started 22+ years ago when I left Morocco at the age of 18, and headed to Southern California to pursue my bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of California, San Diego, ranked 12th in the nation overall, the following were consistent: intellectual curiosity and continuous learning, passion for problem solving, compassionate relationship building, risk taking, grit and perseverance against adversity.
