I am Abdallah, an energy enthusiast, I have a background in Petroleum Engineering, complemented with a master\'s in Minerals & Energy Economics and Management. I am passionate about solving the energy dilemma, contribute to decarbonizing the energy systems and contributing to the development of my country and continent. Awarded the Energy Leader for Tomorrow 2020, by Energy Intelligence, and supported by TotalEnergies, Aramco and Gunvor, which identifies 8 top graduates who have recently entered, or are about to enter, the oil and gas workforce. I interned at TotalEnergies Tanzania and have been the focal point of the rebranding project.Passionate about self-development, I was licensed to be the organizer of TEDxMoroni, with the sole purpose of inspiring the younger generation, tell our story, and celebrate the Comorian intellectual and cultural wealth. This has allowed me to be awarded the Africa Leading Scholarship to attend the One Young World summit in manchester 2022 - the global forum of young leaders. I served as the President of my Society of Petroleum Engineers Student Chapter at APU in Malaysia and at IFP School in France, leading it to win the Presidential and Excellence award respectively.I am passionate about what I do because I believe it is advancing us to a sustainable future and to the 2030 Agenda. Unlocking the energy potential especially in Africa rhymes with a prosperous future for our people and ultimately to the world. It will enhance quality education (SDG4), decrease poverty (SDG1), power countries to develop their economies, meet the sanitary emergency that the continent is facing while tackling other issues such as sustainable lifestyles (SDG11), good health (SDG3) and to reduce inequalities (SDG10 and SDG5).I love networking and meeting new people. I’d love to combine my engineering and economics background and my passion for learning to continue building valuable connections but also solve problems our communities face in general and play my role in delivering energy for all for development.
