ABOUT ABBY SERFILIPPI

I am an HR and Admin Supervisor with Trina Storage, a business unit of Trina Solar, which is an internationally recognized leader in the solar and energy storage industry. Prior to joining Trina, I worked as a Talent Acquisition Specialist for nearly 4 years to recruit across a variety of industries including pharmaceutical, administrative, project management, and more. My interest in the HR industry was sparked during the 2 years I worked in Siena College’s Career Center, assisting fellow students with resumes, cover letters, and professional development. I enjoy all aspects of the HR and recruiting process, from interviewing top talent, to scouring databases to source candidates, writing job descriptions, supporting the onboarding process, and day to day management. An avowed animal lover with a cat of my own, I was 9 years old when I co-founded Dust Bunny’s Boutique, a nonprofit that has raised more than to support local animal rescues, sanctuaries, and wildlife rehabilitators. In my downtime, you can usually find me staying active: skiing in winter, spending time on the lake in summer, and weightlifting in the gym year-round.
