I am an Associate within the Employment team at DLA Piper UK LLP, based in the Manchester Office. DLA website bio: Contact email address: a••••••••@dlapiper.com I advise clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious issues across a range of sectors including financial services, retail, industrials and hospitality and leisure. I advise on a broad range of employment issues including discrimination, termination of employment, TUPE, business protection, resolving disputes and trade union management. I also have significant litigation experience and advise clients on all aspects of contentious work, from providing strategic advice to manage workplace disciplinary and grievance issues, to representing clients in the full range of Employment Tribunal disputes. I have particular experience advising on employment issues arising from corporate transactions and have worked on a range of mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions including acting for both management teams and investors. I also lead the firm\'s Manchester Office charity initiatives and locally co-ordinate the firm\'s Pathways to Law and Head Start schemes. Prior to joining DLA Piper, I studied Law with Study in Continental Europe at the University of Bristol and achieved a distinction in my LPC and Msc in Law, Business and Management.
