About Abby Robinson
I\'m a Marketing major with a co-major in Professional Sales at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. I chose IU for its strong reputation and outstanding marketing program, and I’ve loved exploring how business blends creativity with strategy. I’m originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, and I discovered my passion for marketing during high school while working at a local boutique, RoryMaxwell. Over three years there, I served as both a Sales Associate and Social Media Manager, where I created Instagram content, updated the company website, and handled online customer interactions. I also assisted with shipping, inventory, and data entry, gaining valuable behind-the-scenes experience while strengthening my communication and organization skills through in-person sales and in-store display design. At Kelley, I’ve built on those early experiences through courses in business presentations, Excel, and accounting, while also developing a strong foundation in data analytics and strategic thinking. I\'m currently involved in the Women in Marketing and Sales Club, where I’ve grown through case competitions, professional development events, and presentations. I’m also an active member of Alpha Gamma Delta, where I participate in volunteer work for our philanthropy, Fighting Hunger, and serve as the Vice President of Memeber Experience. Looking ahead, I’m especially interested in corporate marketing and aspire to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment that challenges me to create meaningful connections between brands and their audiences. I’m excited to continue learning and growing as a marketer—and to bring passion, creativity, and a strategic mindset to every opportunity I pursue.
