About Abby Levinson
I received a dual master\'s in Global Luxury and Management. Through this program, I explored the three sectors of luxury; personal, experiential, and transportation. My classes and projects helped prepare me for real-world application. Through the Wilson College of Textiles and Poole College of Management, I have been allowed to study visual merchandising, marketing, entrepreneurship, business, and consumers. This knowledge has aided me in furthering my hands-on experience.I currently provide first-class customer service in an upscale boutique by creating a unique experience for each customer. My communication skills allow me to make people feel comfortable, inspired, excited, and beautiful. My strong attention to detail and organizational skills give me the ability to market through merchandising. I do this by selecting mannequin wardrobes and itemizing new and old products in an appealing manner to increase awareness and sales. This helps me stay up to date on inventory and contributes to my strength in meeting or exceeding personal daily sales goals and monthly sales goals. I have created content for Instagram campaigns by selecting featured items, designing photo shoot layouts, and modeling merchandise. I co-organized the bi-annual fashion show by designing the set, arranging models, and serving in the public relations capacity to increase consumer knowledge. Being the President of the Runway of Dreams Club at NC State has taught me leadership, and responsibility and expanded my ability to be a team member. I oversee all activities and officers to ensure that sufficient funds are raised for donations and that people are informed about the adaptive fashion industry. As a hostess, I demonstrated the ability to be a quick problem solver during busy hours, work as part of a team, and utilized my upbeat personability to ensure a pleasant dining experience for all.
