About Abby Lamkins

I am a senior at Marquette University double-majoring in Digital Media and Public Relations and double-minoring in Urban Affairs and Theology. I am also in the Accelerated Degree Program for an MA in Public Service. The main goal of my education is to combine my two passions of communications and social justice in order to help others and make a positive difference in the world. In high school, for example, I was involved in many leadership positions that helped better my school and community, and now, in college, I am involved in a plethora of extracurriculars at Marquette that relate to my career interests and desire for helping others.

   Plan and co-facilitate peer-support groups for girls in grades 7-8 and 11-12-Emphasize confidence-building, positive relationships, and social-emotional learning in curriculum throughout the school year-Event support for seasonal and annual events -Project-based work for the Marketing and Communications department
