About Faris Abboushi

I am a Senior Manager and Business Operations Leader, with over 20 years of successful experience and proven results in all aspects of executive and project management. I\'ve had progressive leadership responsibilities in land development project management including due diligence, planning, design, permitting and construction management, as well as mentoring and team building.I have been a design engineer and lead project manager on a wide variety of development projects ranging from multi-family residential condominiums, retail and office site plans in ultra-urban settings, subdivision projects and comprehensive master plans, to energy project across the US and abroad.Although I have worked on the design aspects of producing subdivision and site development construction documents, my strongest attributes as an engineering professional are my management and leadership skills, as well as my ability to communicate with clients and team members, coordinate the various project tasks and elements, and obtain various permits and variances from different review agencies.In May 2008, I obtained a Masters in Business Administration degree from the Executive MBA program at the University of Texas in Austin’s McCombs Business School. I then went on to assemble a company Visioning and Strategy team, and take the lead as the head of the marketing department guiding the company through a re-branding campaign. I am passionate about the creation of vibrant, sustainable communities, organizational leadership and the ability of people and organizations to affect positive change.
