ABOUT ABBIE PULLMAN

Business strategy, intuitive software, and operations are all about PEOPLE and people are why I get up in the morning!I\'m fascinated by WHY we do what we do and love getting inside people\'s heads to understand what drives behaviour.My career to date is intentionally eclectic, as I\'m ultimately happiest when I\'m helping others achieve more than they anticipate they can. I take huge satisfaction in gently but firmly pushing someone, watching them succeed and then thinking \"Wowzers, look at them go!\"I\'m unapologetically inquisitive and happiest when I\'m learning. As such, I’m a voracious reader, obsessed with blogs, articles, books, attending events and TED Talks that challenge my assumptions and improve my knowledge of everything and anything. I want to know who\'s doing what, and WHY. I see absolute links between hard work and accelerated results. I\'m energised by plans for the coming months, years and decades: bringing ideas to life is an exciting prospect! I thrive on difficult to reach goals and enjoy launching new projects, whether handling the bulk of the \'doing\' myself or motivating others to plan and execute.I firmly believe we\'re judged not by what we say, not by what we think, but by what we ACTUALLY achieve. It doesn’t frighten me, it excites, drives and motivates me. I’m unashamedly ambitious. I want to do and learn more, faster and RIGHT NOW.Ultimate relaxation for me is: spending time with my nephews; reading something that twists my brain slightly (whether a Neil Gaiman or China Miéville novel or currently the whole Pratchett Discworld series.); amateur bouldering (my new hobby!); or finding a new craft pale ale to rate.
