ABOUT ABBIE ASHALL
Hi, I’m Abbie! I’m a freelance Event Manager based in Manchester, bringing energy, creativity, and precision to live events of every scale — from international conferences to major music festivals. With a passion for creating unforgettable experiences, my career has taken me around the world, delivering projects across corporate, cultural, and community sectors. During my early career, I had the privilege of managing events in iconic spaces, including the United Nations HQ in New York to the Plaza de Bolívar in Bogotá, Colombia on behalf of clients such as One Young World, World Merit and The Nerve Network. In more recent years, I sank my teeth into producing and delivering international corporate conferences across the US and Europe on behalf of CMSPI, before taking a turn into the Live Music industry in 2023, working with Mighty Hoopla and Manchester Pride.Since stepping into freelancing, I’ve collaborated with incredible teams at Emota, Square Fish, People, Go To Live and Fever, working with brands such as Red Bull, Shell, B&M, Live Nation, Sanofi and Candlelight. Each project has honed my ability to adapt quickly, communicate clearly, and keep things running seamlessly — whether that’s a city-centre festival or a high-profile international forum.Outside of events, I’m deeply involved in the performing arts. In 2024, I co-founded Low Fat Productions, a theatre company dedicated to creating original musicals with heart and humour. Our latest show, Spraywatch, premiered in the Northwest in 2025 and is heading to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Summer 2026.
