As a Peer Mentor with Springbrook which is almost identical to my work with InclusiveU, I supported students by meeting weekly with them to work on their individualized goals. This could be anything from encouraging participation in activities such as going to the gym, joining clubs, and engaging in social events. My role was focused on promoting independence, inclusivity, and helping students stay active and connected within the campus community. This experience has given me so much room to grow my leadership and interpersonal skills while making a positive impact on the students college experience.
