Having a profound interest in the fashion industry for many years of my life, studying Fashion Marketing at the Manchesters Fashion Institute gives me a considerable amount of optimism to learn new skills and assets that may benefit me in the work place in the future for fashion. I have gained extra understanding on technological skills such as using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign which are a dominant advantage within the industry and working as an employee at a major retail company for 2 years has given me the opportunity to experience the retail sector of fashion, helping focus my understanding of merchandising, promotion, and how a customer can be influenced to buy a product.
