About Abbi Brinson
I am a junior at James Madison University pursuing a double major in International Affairs and Political Science, with a concentration in International Security and Conflict.My academic and professional interests center on national security, defense innovation, and great power competition. I am particularly interested in China’s strategic behavior, how the United States engages and competes with adversaries, and the dynamics of ongoing conflicts in the Middle East. I also am interested in narrative laundering and information operations, examining how influence is embedded within open information environments.As Co-Founder and Project Manager of Vantryx, I am engaged in building technology that supports open-source threat detection and anticipatory security strategy.I am driven by understanding how modern conflict evolves, across physical and information domains, and how the United States can better anticipate emerging threats.
