ABOUT ABBI ASHCROFT

I have worked in recruitment since July 2021. Within the 4 months that I have been here I have managed to develop a good knowledge of candidate selection, CV shortlisting and interviewing process. I have great communication skills and maintain relationships with my candidates from initial screening calls to after they have started their new career. I am extremely focused on resourcing candidates to ensure that they get the job that they love and want to progress in. Working in recruitment in the healthcare sector has helped me expand on my knowledge based from A level in Health and Social care, this has given me a better understanding of a nurse’s working day, and what they would be looking at for long-term career progression opportunities. I am currently responsible for sourcing candidates for the numerous role we have available at the moment helping them with the initial stages of their application as well as supporting them through the whole recruitment process and after job offers are received to help all of my candidates settle into their new job. I provide our clients with high calibre candidates to ensure all parties are happy and well suited. I am looking forward to progressing in my career in recruitment with Meridian, and to continue placing healthcare professionals in their new career adventures.
