ABOUT ABBEY JANE ATKINSON
Hi. My name is Abbey. After I realized that playing professional soccer wasn’t going to work out for me, I sought out another career path that would excite me as much as being on the field. Upon arriving at Brigham Young University, it didn’t take long for me to discover my passion for business. I’m a very competitive person and the tenacity I use to bring to the field is now reflected in my goals as a marketer entering the sports business world. Throughout my entire life I have been planning and executing events. I created birthday parties for my best friends, organized community service projects, and planned church activities for the youth. My love for events continues today. However, now my aim is to manage big scale events in the sports industry. Even though the majority of my time is spent working and innovating, I still manage to find time to get outside. The outdoors is my happy place. I enjoy hiking, running, swimming, and pickle ball. I love to travel as well. I want to discover new places and I know marketing can take me there.
