About Abigail Patterson

I am an experienced attorney licensed in both Tennessee and Wisconsin (currently inactive). I am currently a Senior Attorney in the Business Law Department at Dollar General. I handle a wide variety of contracts and contract negotiations. Prior to Dollar General, I was a Senior Corporate Attorney at a privately-held international medical device manufacturer that also provided a SaaS inventory management solutions. Additionally, I have worked as an In-House Attorney, HR/Employment Law Attorney, and Special Projects Manager. I have regularly completed legal research, drafted/reviewed/negotiated complex contracts, managed a legal budget, and directed outside counsel. My professional experience also includes general business law, non-competition agreements, consulting (KOL) agreements, trademark law, international distribution agreements, technology (SaaS) contracts and supply agreements. Additionally, I have regulatory experience with FDA compliance, device labeling/marketing and clinical trials. I have been lucky enough to get to support sales teams in reaching the mutual goal of getting a contract executed (and making a sale). I have enjoyed working with companies that have allowed me to get my hands dirty in a variety of areas, including bankruptcy, data privacy, import/export and immigration law. Lastly, I am a lifelong learner and I’m endlessly curious about the many facets of a business. I completed my Professional MBA in December of 2022 to help round out my business knowledge… but I’m always on a quest to know more and do better!
