ABOUT ABBEY WEITZMAN
My name is Abbey Weitzman and I am currently a student at Michigan State University. I am studying to get my bachelors of art in social work and am minoring in in human behavior and social services. By attending MSU I am learning how to become an even better team member, communicator, and leader. Since starting my journey here I have joined a sorority (Sigma Delta Tau), and joined the psychology club. During my time in high school, I was a sales woman at Emery\'s Creative Jewelers. This is where I learned most of my communication and team work skills. In my senior year I was an intern at Michigan Institute for Neurological Disorders(MIND). This allowed me to become more comfortable with communicating in different professional settings and allowed me to learn more about the medical field.I am dedicated to help the lives of adolescents struggling with mental health and eager to continue my education in and out of school.
