ABOUT ABBAS SALAMI

Hi there Welcome to my page — glad you\'re here:)My name is Abbas. I started out as an engineer, taught myself how to code and learn AI, and somewhere along the way picked up a PhD in computer science! My journey has been diverse, but the common thread running through it all has been \"healthcare\". From studying the human brain, to promoting healthier lives in the health insurance industry, and now working on biomarker discovery, I\'ve always been drawn to the question: what really shapes our health, and how can data help us improve it?But for me, it was never about becoming a computer scientist locked away behind a screen. What matters just as much as the science is being able to simplify it, to tell a story people can actually connect with. Because in the end, nothing sticks better than a good story! I believe every person’s life story is unique and just as important as their symptoms when it comes to understanding health and disease. That belief shapes how I approach my work; seeing data not as numbers, but as stories that can guide us to better care. One day, I\'d like my own story to end with this line: “I used my skills to help people live healthier, longer lives, so they had more time with the people they love.”If you share that passion, I\'d love to connect:)
