Responsible for leading the design and development for the electrical design packages. • Co-ordinated & conducted design verification testing of reclosers, regulators, fuses & circuit breakers. • Worked as Planning Engineer of the O&M of 40Kv,24Kv,13.2Kv,4.8Kv circuit switchers, transformers, relays, PTS and their respected communication devices. • Created Engineering Work Orders (EWOs) to help the D&R team to release the DTE Job packages. • Participate in feature launch meetings to align with cross-functional teams and review system-level issues, and design validation plans. • Analyzing and fixing critical defects, especially on production intent software. • Define functional requirements and use cases to support feature design and implementation. • Designed HV & MV cables for both underground and overhead. • Applied engineering calculations to various project challenges to develop the quality design with DTE standards using CYME, SPIDAcalc. • Assist with proposals, marketing, project reports and performs other job-related duties as assigned. • Analyzed, created test planning, and executed test cases of ESRI. • Worked closely with senior electrical engineers to understand requirements, detailed design, and implementation from workflow needs. • Co-ordinated commissioning and isolation of the Electrical equipment during signoff process. • Performed assigned engineering studies and analyzes data to support system integration problem solving.
