About Apoorv B.
PhD in Chemical Engineering from an R1 research university (Clemson) in the field of energy storage technologies and structure-property relationships in glassy polymer/nanocomposite membranes. First graduate student in the Davis Research Group (Clemson Chemical Engineering). Previously, I graduated with an Integrated Masters in Polymer Science & Technology from IIT Roorkee and have three years of experience working as a research engineer for a thermal energy storage startup, where I was involved in successful patenting and launch of a neonatal medicare device as well as acted as a liaison between my organization and the Indo-U.S. Joint Clean Energy Research & Development Centre, among other contributions. My research interests lie at the intersection of chemical technology, energy storage and environmental sustainability, and I am passionate about development of novel smart materials and technologies.
