ABOUT AIESHA BROWN
Hi I\'m Aiesha :). I am a Senior Frontend Engineer at the National Basketball Association (NBA), where I work on the NBA app, a real-time interactive platform that delivers live stats, highlights, and personalized content to millions of fans across various devices and platforms, including web, mobile, desktop, and metaverse. With over four years of experience in frontend engineering, I have a strong command of Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java, and I use them to create user-centric and accessible features that enhance the fan experience and engagement.I have a background in marketing, which I studied at Loyola University New Orleans, and I have applied my knowledge of user behavior and analytics to high-traffic sites like LinkedIn and Clorox. At LinkedIn, I was an accessibility champion, where I contributed to improving the a11y metrics and standards for the pages organization, resulting in increased traffic and revenue. I also volunteer with the Microsoft Teals program, where I mentor and teach computer science to underrepresented students. I am passionate about problem-solving, software development, and making technology accessible for all.Eventually, I\'d like to be in a role where I can manage engineers. I\'ve benefited greatly from excellent mentors and I\'m looking forward to giving back! If you\'d like to have a coffee chat message me :)
