Worked on sealing solutions for fuel cell stacks and created an end-to-end seal development process from concept, design, and DVP & R to prototype and batch production- Pioneered liquid gasket dispensing technology to reduce cell pitch, increase design flexibility, and minimize seal and scrap costs- Created a project plan to industrialize unit cell sealing. Developed a work flow, carried out product costing and created ROI model to support the technology implementation and scalability- Conducted detailed tolerance stack-up analysis to create standardized design tools for development of seal profile and bipolar plate architecture- Led design-for-manufacturing efforts for bipolar plates, applying GD & T know-how to create standardized part drawings aligning functional requirements with manufacturing, assembly and quality possibilities- Supported transition from graphite plate machining to compression moulding, driving plate design changes and collaborating with simulation team to assess functional impacts.
