About Aayushee Garg

I am an educator, researcher, and academic mentor with a strong commitment to teaching, scholarship, and interdisciplinary learning. I recently served as an Assistant Professor of English and Personality Development at SR Group of Institutions, Lucknow, and have previously worked as an Assistant Professor and Graduation Programme Leader at Amity University, Lucknow Campus.I hold a PhD in English (2023) and have qualified the UGC NET in English multiple times. My academic journey has been shaped by a sustained engagement with literature, research, and pedagogy, supported by merit-based scholarships throughout my undergraduate and postgraduate studies, including the highest academic scholarship at Christ University, Bengaluru. My academic training also includes a technical foundation, having qualified the GATE examination in Computer Science. I won meritorious scholarships in all four years of engineering studies as well.My research and teaching interests span literary studies, academic writing, communication skills, and interdisciplinary inquiry. I have presented papers and chaired sessions at national and international conferences hosted by esteemed institutions such as IIT Madras, Visva-Bharati University, Christ University, and Jadavpur University. I have served as a reviewer for reputed journals including Rupkatha Journal on Interdisciplinary Studies and Erothanatos Journal, and have been associated with Literary Voice (WoS and UGC CARE).My scholarly and creative work includes over 50 research and literary publications, with peer-reviewed articles indexed in Web of Science (ESCI) and UGC CARE journals. My poetry and short fiction have appeared in national and international literary platforms such as Muse India, Criterion, Quill’s Will, Pratilipi, Rhetorica, Ashvamegh, and Literary Herald, with additional features in The Times of India. I was also honoured to represent India at a youth round-table discussion in Trinidad and Tobago.Recently my chapter appeared in a book celebrating 250 years of Jane Austen, published by Orient Blackswan. Another book on Indian Knowledge Systems, published by Exceller, features my article on the Herman Hesse’s approach.As an educator, I am deeply invested in encouraging critical thinking, clarity of expression, and intellectual confidence among learners. I value meaningful academic engagement, thoughtful mentorship, and pedagogical practices that are both rigorous and humane.
