Serve as Lead Counselor for a portfolio of approximately 50 small business clients annually, providing individualized advice in areas such as financial analysis, market research, and operational strategy.* Deliver business counseling services to both nascent entrepreneurs and existing businesses with fewer than 10 FTEs, supporting startup feasibility, business growth, and long-term success.* Manage daily fiscal operations for the regional service center, including budget reconciliation, reporting, and compliance with federal and institutional policies.* Plan, schedule, and lead Pre-Venture Orientation (PVO) training workshops, handling all event documentation, evaluation, and client follow-up in accordance with SBA requirements.* Conduct client intake and needs assessment, assigning cases appropriately or making external referrals to private professionals or partner organizations.* Contribute to special projects such as intern supervision, campus engagement, and statewide events aligned with the SBTDC’s strategic plan.
