About Aatreyee G.
I have demonstrated leadership skills and experience in planning, organizing, managing and sustaining projects, events and drives against inequity and for collective learning and empowerment. I greatly enjoy research, having written, presented and published papers at international conferences and publications, with my research interests being at the intersection of gender and sexuality, education, culture and media. I am passionate about co-creating safe spaces of joy and learning, in the classroom, the school, the home and community. I locate myself as an educator in our larger fight against fascism and injustice. I love traveling to new places, meeting and understanding people and their contexts. I bring vulnerability, creative perspectives, an open mind, radical empathy and an unwavering intersectional feminist mindset into all that I do.I have a BA in Sociology (2023) from Manipal Center for Humanities, was a 2023-25 Teach for India Fellow, and am currently an MA student in Sociology at Jadavpur University.
