ABOUT AATISH HANS

My passion for accounting, finance, and economics began in high school, where I had the opportunity to take various business courses as a freshman. From the start, these subjects just clicked, I found them both intuitive and deeply engaging.This passion led me to pursue my undergraduate degree at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, where I’ve been able to deepen my knowledge through rigorous coursework and hands-on learning. At Kelley, I’ve expanded my technical skills by working with software and tools such as QuickBooks, Tableau, Advanced Excel & Access, as well as coding languages including SQL, VBA, and Python. I\'ve also gained valuable exposure to audit and tax practices through in-house experience with an Engineering company.In addition to academics, Indiana University has offered me incredible leadership opportunities. I currently serve as a Resident Assistant, a role that allows me to build a supportive and welcoming community for students living on campus – a \"home away from home.\" This position, along with other experiences, has helped shape my values and leadership style.Looking ahead, I plan to obtain my CPA license following graduation and continue building a career grounded in curiosity, integrity, and growth. Outside of my professional goals, I prioritize maintaining a balanced lifestyle through daily running and intermittent fasting.
