ABOUT AASTHA CHAUHAN

I am an enthusiastic educator with a strong academic foundation in social sciences and education. I hold a BA in History & Political Science, a B.Ed, and an M.Ed, and I am currently pursuing an M.A. in Political Science. My journey has allowed me to explore people, systems, and institutions through both theoretical and practical lenses, strengthening my ability to connect ideas with real-world practice.I designed and delivered 150+ lesson plans during my B.Ed, gaining valuable classroom experience. Afterward, I worked as a TGT Social Science, enhancing my communication, leadership, and classroom management skills. Later, as a B.Ed. instructor, I mentored future educators in pedagogy and practice.Across these roles, I have developed strong people-centric skills; mentoring, problem-solving, collaboration, and adaptability, that extend beyond classrooms and are valuable in any organizational setting. My experiences have taught me to engage with individuals at different stages of learning and growth, and to create environments where people feel supported and motivated.Outside work, I enjoy reading, yoga, art & craft, and engaging in thought-provoking conversations that spark new perspectives. Living amidst the mountains has further deepened my love for culture, reflection, and meaningful human connections.Fun fact: I can seamlessly turn even a casual tea chat into an engaging conversation on politics, people, culture, and society!Always open to connecting with fellow educators, learners, and curious minds.
