I write about - Carbon Markets | Gender | Philanthropy | Everyday lifeAastha Narang is currently pursuing her Master’s in Public Policy at the Hertie School, Berlin. She is currently deep diving into the carbon markets and sustainable finance in Europe. Her interest also lies in understanding the distributional impacts of carbon pricing, specially towards gender.She is passionate about translating complex policy problems into simple, easily understandable formats. She brings seven years of experience in consulting, advisory, and advocacy. She has worked with a diverse range of stakeholders, including UHNIs, philanthropists, government ministries, NGOs, multilateral organizations, and corporates, across sectors like gender, sustainability, sustainable finance, education, and governance. Her long-term goal is to bridge the gap between policy intentions and real-world outcomes.Aastha also has an enterprising nature, she has co-founded the The EU India Watch, a strategic platform and knowledge hub dedicated to the evolving corridor between the European Union and India. In past she founded TYUF.in, a venture delivering gender-inclusive education modules in schools across India. She thrives in growth-oriented environments, working collaboratively to transform strategies into measurable outcomes.A dedicated theatre enthusiast, Aastha has been a radio jockey, director, street play performer, and stage actor, with formal training from the National School of Drama, India and All India Radio. Among her many dreams, the one closest to her heart is to drive around the world with some country music as her companion.
