Improved performance metrics for Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) operating in the unlicensed spectrum by applyinginterference mitigation techniques based on channel sensing mechanisms.+ Developed an end-to-end interference mitigation pipeline in MATLAB using the Listen-Before-Talk (LBT) channelsensing mechanism, and benchmarked it against Adaptive Frequency Hopping (AFH).+ The comparison was based onBit Error Rate (BER), Packet Error Rate (PER), energy consumption, throughput, and channel utilizationefficiency, as functions of Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) and Intended-to-Unintended Signal Ratio (I/U).+ Experimented with various path loss models and analysed the effect on the end to end performance.+ Extended the interference mitigation framework to support Bluetooth LE operations in the 6 GHz band.
