ABOUT AASHNA SEHGAL RAY
I am particularly passionate about health tech, and how we can use design to bring a much needed human element to delivering care. My love for this niche is fuelled by what I do in my personal time. I am a trained mental health first aider, and am currently in training to be an end of life doula, studying mindfulness informed end of life care at the University of Toronto. Empathy is a cornerstone of how I approach my work as a product designer. I try to combine analytical thinking with a sincere care for users, guided by a belief in design as a force for good. Outside of work, you can find me reading the DSM-5 for fun, finding the best flat white in Toronto, obsessing over my dog, or trying not to take myself seriously because we are all apes on a floating rock in the middle of nowhere.
