During my +2, I joined Bird Conservation Nepal, an international organization focused on protecting the threatened and vulnerable bird species, e.g. vultures, along with monitoring their status, and coming up with suitable solutions to increase their abundance through establishment of bird shelters, provision of food, and delimiting their poaching. I have been participating in various bird watching events organized in Kathmandu premises at several forest areas viz. Shivapuri Nagarjuna National Park, Godavari Botanical Garden, etc, and have attended a couple of insightful seminars as well. I have been continuously involved via hybrid mode these days because of my higher studies, and contributing my part as a conservationist.

Our members act collectively to set the organisation\'s strategic agenda. We are commited to showing the value of birds and their special relationship with people. As such, we strongly advocate the need for peoples\' participation as future stewards to attain long-term conservation goals. As the Nepalese Partner of BirdLife International, a network of more than 110 organisations around the world, BCN also works on a worldwide agenda to conserve the world\'s birds and their habitats.
