About Aashish Adhikari

I describe myself as a self-starter who is not scared to experiment new ideas and take on new challenges. I believe learning is a lifelong process. So you will see me push git commits for a personal project late at night on weekends. I enjoy solving problems from diverse fields - state space modelling of a self-driving car with a billion-parameter neural network to hardness prediction of alloys using regression. I have completed projects - academic as well as personal - that span traditional machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, vision, and NLP. My research focuses on the real-world problem of reducing operations cost at data centers using machine learning.
