My research explores how multi-modal systems learn, align, and reason across diverse task domains. During my PhD at Penn State, I focused on enhancing the visio-linguistic understanding and alignment of Multi-modal Large Language Models (MLLMs). Currently, as a Senior Research Scientist at Optum AI, I build specialized language models designed to navigate complex medical reasoning workflows such as Prior Authorization.
