About Aaryesh Chandekar
As a former demand planner at UPL, a global leader in agrochemicals and crop protection, I applied my problem-solving and critical thinking skills towards demand planning, supply planning, and vendor development. I contributed to optimizing inventory levels, reducing lead times, and increasing customer satisfaction. I also supported the implementation of S & OP processes.I am currently pursuing my master\'s degree in global supply chain management at USC Marshall, where I am learning advanced concepts and best practices in managing complex and dynamic supply chains in a global context. I was also enrolled in the global management program at SPJIMR, where I am developing my cross-cultural and leadership skills. My education background also includes a PGDM in operations from Welingkar Institute of Management and a bachelor\'s degree in engineering from University of Mumbai. One of my passions is conservation and sustainability, which I believe should go hand in hand with supply chain management. I have been involved in various initiatives to protect the environment and wildlife, such as beach clean-ups, spreading awareness about animal cruelty, and bird photography. My academic projects have also reflected my interest in this domain, such as improving shop-floor efficiency and supporting marginal Indian farmers to cope better with climate change. My goal is to leverage my skills and knowledge to create positive impacts for both business and society.
