Contribute object research, programming development, language translation and script proofing, and additional logistic support for the 4-year international tour of the traveling exhibition In Slavery’s Wake: Making Black Freedom in the World • Create educational materials related to the exhibition, including story pages for the digital exhibition, ready-to-use K12 classroom materials, in-gallery tour scripts and object close-looking guides, and educator workshops • Process archival files and manage sections of the databases for the SlaveVoyages.org digital humanities projects to create accessible, public-facing user interface and data • Collaborate with NMAAHC’s creative and educational partners to design and facilitate in-person and virtual programming, including K-12 educator workshops, community art-making events, and student exhibition visits• Conduct complex searches in TMS to create object packages and reports for 15+ objects related to the exhibition to contribute to research for the exhibition and related object-based educational materials
