I’ve spent the last few years building and scaling large consumer businesses in India — across mass, masstige and premium beauty- working at the intersection of strategy, distribution, and on-ground execution.At Hindustan Unilever, I’ve led shopper marketing, customer strategy and trade execution for some of India’s most scaled hair care and beauty portfolios -spanning Cr mass hair care businesses as well as ₹200+ Cr premium and D2C-first brands -across General Trade, Modern Trade, Ecommerce and Beauty channels.My work has involved owning critical growth levers: trade marketing and promotions, pricing and assortment architecture, omnichannel go-to-market strategies, and large-scale change programs including category-wide GST transitions. Across roles, the focus has been consistent - building repeatable growth frameworks that deliver market-beating performance in highly competitive categories.Prior to HUL, I worked on pan-India sales and distribution transformation projects at ITC, partnering with consulting teams and internal stakeholders to build data-led, scalable systems across thousands of outlets and frontline teams.Alongside corporate roles, I’ve always built - early ventures, media platforms, and content IPs — which shaped my instinct for consumers, brands, and distribution long before it showed up on a balance sheet.I’ve recently stepped away from full-time corporate roles to build something of my own in the consumer space.Prior to this, I did my MBA in Marketing from MICA from 2018-20. I also have a community of 100k followers on Instagram + Linkedin where I have been creating content on lifestyle+travel.I use this space to share what I’m learning about building brands, scaling distribution, and operating in India — in public.
