About Aarush Goyal
As the son of Indian immigrants, I’ve always understood the value of hard work and resilience. Growing up in Delaware, I learned to appreciate the power of education and the doors it can open. From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by how technology can solve everyday problems, and this curiosity has led me to pursue a career in computer science.I’m currently a freshman in the University of Delaware’s Honors College, working toward a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. I see computer science as my way of making an impact—by learning how to build software that improves lives and connects people. My studies are helping me lay the foundation, and each new skill brings me closer to my goal of creating practical, meaningful tech solutions.Working part-time at Community Powered Federal Credit Union has been a big part of this journey. As a Member Services Representative, I’ve developed strong communication skills and learned a lot about handling data responsibly. I’ve also had the chance to connect with many people and solve problems in real-time, teaching me the value of staying adaptable and professional. This experience has shown me how technology and service come together to create positive experiences.Outside of school and work, I’ve taken on leadership roles, such as representing Delaware at Boys State and participating in the YMCA Model UN. These programs have taught me a lot about teamwork, empathy, and making thoughtful decisions—all skills I know will help me in my future career.As I continue my studies, I’m eager to connect with other professionals in the tech industry, learn from those with more experience, and take on new challenges. I’m excited to see where computer science will lead me and look forward to contributing to projects that make a difference.
