Checking impact of EOL or obsolete mpn’s and give replacements or alternate for obsolete components in the form of sheet (Form, Fit, Function) with designer’s approval. • Hand on experience in BOM management i.e BOM scrubbing for new quotation of product and quote orderable MPN• Segregating items for PCBA assemblies and check for quantity of BOM• Good knowledge on environmental compliance management (RoHS, REACH)• Assist hardware Design Engineer and Procurement Team for component selection and Alternate suggestion• IHS, Silicon Expert, AML, AVL, Distributors/Suppliers and Manufacturer engagement. • Experience in PLM/ERP tools like Agile, BAAN and DIR, Silicon expert, SAP, EMS-BI• Creation and maintenance of documents and update component database.• Proficient to handle training to new joiner’s, site calls and process improvements projects for time management.• Proficient to handle the team, project management, conflict management and decision making for project handling and resource management.
