About Aarthi Toniappa
Hi, my name is Aarthi Toniappa and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Rice University, with an expected graduation of May 2026. As a Software Engineer Intern at LinkedIn, I am able to contribute to an impactful project centered around Agentic AI. Previous experiences include working at BakerRipley, where I used census data and GIS mapping to help redefine neighborhood boundaries, and at the SDA Tap Lab, where I developed a reinforcement learning agent to optimize satellite pathing. At the Tap Lab, I also had the opportunity to present my work to government officials, an experience that strengthened my communication and public speaking skills. My past roles emphasized statistical analysis and community engagement, showcasing a commitment to data-driven problem-solving. I am motivated to support organizations that value collaboration and diverse perspectives, with a goal of driving meaningful change through technical and analytical expertise.
