ABOUT AARON WYANT

I believe that kindness and helping others are healthful human behaviors. To emulate this professionally, I advocate for exercise as medicine in clinical and community-based programs that boost physical literacy and motivation for healthy lifestyle behaviors. improves accessibility to expert guidance on exercise, fitness, and wellness. — Health & Fitness Credentials • LiveStrong Cancer Fit Trainer (2024) • Cancer Recovery Specialist - NFPT (2024) • Brain Health Trainer - FAI (2022) • Senior Fitness Specialist ACE (2022) • Arthur Murray Amateur Dance Bronze I (2020) • Corrective Exercise Specialist - ACE (2020) • Cancer Exercise Specialist - CETI (2016) • Registered Personal Trainer - ACE (2009) • BSK / MSK (2010 & 2013) Sports Performance Credentials • TPI Certified Level One (2017) • NCAA Division 1 Strength & Conditioning Coach (20••••14) — As an experienced organizational leader and “solo-preneur”, I am hungry for hands-on learning experiences. Through 17+ years working in exercise, I have designed, implemented, and/or managed successful programs in the clinical inpatient and outpatient supervised exercise therapy, athletic strength and conditioning, and general fitness branches. I am professionally committed to continue growing in my experience and knowledge of the health and wellness industries. Evidenced-based health, fitness, and performance enhancement is my passion. My mission is to increase accessibility to the skill sets surrounding physical literacy for those who need it most. I hope to inspire and empower self-motivation and self-responsibility to take control of our own health and fitness journeys. Challenging and improving physical skillsets and fitness will elevate our quality of life. The process of building new motor skills translates to achieving other goals we set for ourselves. From the first step of setting time aside for self-care to completing a grueling physical goal, or crossing off an item on our daily \"To Do\" list to the realization of a life-long pursuit — exercise teaches us to invest in ourselves, map out and track our goals, to address barriers with persistence, seek out positive support, and celebrate accomplishments. Spanning youth to older adults, healthy to clinical populations, for any and all — self-awareness and -analysis, goal setting and self-tracking, time management, self-talk, visualization and imagery, practice and perseverance, and self-recognition — the underlying lessons from just one successfully completed workout can apply to any goal when the right considerations are made.
