About Aaron Weisblatt
As a young boy I worked summers at Kobelt Airport, a small, pilot-controlled field where I first became entranced with aviation. I watched Stearmans, Piper Cubs, and experimental aircraft fly in and out of the airstrip.In the 90\'s, at Chino Airport I started my Private Pilot training flying Citabrias.I resumed training and received my Private Pilot Certificate in Kingston, NY in 2017With 200 hours of private pilot time, I entered Sling Pilot Academy and received my IFR rating and my Commercial rating and currently have my multi-engine rating, high performance, complex and tailwheel endorsements. I am a member of a flying club out of Van Nuys Airport flying a beautiful Cessna 182.Aviation is my present career - but in the past : Academy Award nominated director/producer with 25+ years’ experience creating nonfiction content, including TV, features, shorts, promos, and branded content. Expertise creating narratives during all phases of content lifecycle, including developing original content, shaping story in the field, and supervising post-production.
