PRACTICAL DATA PRIVACY/CYBERSECURITY, ADVERTISING AND IP ADVICE Outside the courtroom, Aaron provides proactive and sophisticated legal advice in the constantly evolving world of data privacy and protection, as well as advertising law and intellectual property protection. He is certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals as a Certified Information Privacy Professional/U.S. SEASONED LITIGATOR In the courtroom, Aaron specializes in intellectual property disputes and business litigation, with a particular emphasis on disputes involving false advertising, trademark, misappropriation of publicity rights and the First Amendment, as well as those involving copyright infringement and idea submission claims. Throughout his career, Aaron has also represented companies in various other disputes involving labor and employment claims, profit participation and royalty issues, distribution, merchandising and licensing rights, and breach of contract. BROAD EXPERIENCE In both providing industry advice and litigating, Aaron has represented a broad swath of companies and individuals ranging from those in the entertainment field – including film and television studios, production companies, music companies, producers, directors, and owners of television, film and music properties – to global advertising companies and national advertisers, to furniture companies, apparel companies, designers, universities and others. He has substantial trial, arbitration, and appellate experience.
